Program Description

Event Details

Art is for everyone! Art After Dark is our monthly adult art workshop series with Alison -- all skill levels welcome! We aim to create a space where adults feel safe to play, try, fail and succeed. We encourage each other and cooperate to learn together.

Research shows that engaging in an art project for as little as 45 minutes reduces the stress hormone cortisol, no matter your skill level, and how just one art experience per month can extend your life by 10 years! - Susan Magsamen & Ivy Ross

Make a hand-printed tea towel - using fruits and vegetables! We will slice our unusual stamps to reveal the natural beauty and symmetry of nature! Honor Earth Day by creating this beautiful craft for yourself or to give as a gift! Bring a single vegetable or fruit and we will share and swap and print and perhaps munch on the rest!

This staff-led program is FREE - donations appreciated. All supplies provided.

Parking is available at the library and the 13th Street Municipal Lot (metered). Library is accessible via PRT's 91 and 1 bus routes -- get off at 13th Street.
