April is our Fantasy month, so we will be reading The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden.

Join us for a fun time after hours at the library for our Middle School Teens! Play games, sing karaoke, eat pizza, and more! Use the back entrance for this program.

Explore various STEM concepts with the students from Fox Chapel Area High School's Society of Women Engineers (SWE NEXT).

This event is for a 1-on-1 Digitize It Yourself (D.I.Y.) Lab appointment. During the appointment, you can transfer and store your analog memorabilia, such as photos, slides, audio and video cassettes, into a digital format for safekeeping.

It's Pokémon time! Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 and show off your cards, trade cards, or play the Pokémon card game! We'll be using the new downstairs space for this program.

Join other Mah Jong enthusiasts for a game every other Sunday! This is for folks who already know how to play. Please bring a set of tiles and Mah Jong mat, if possible. The library has 2 sets that can be borrowed, if needed.

Join us for a special book club designed for kids in grades 3-5! Reading books is even more fun when we can talk about the stories with friends. 

How does it work?

Join certified person trainer, Tom Capriotti for a 1-hour somatics session.

If you can dream it, you can make it at Maker Monday every Monday at 4:30pm! This program for grades K-5 rotates content with some weeks being more arts focused and other weeks being more science focused.

Suffering from board-om? Get your game on at the library! We'll have a selection of curated board and card games for you to play each month on the 2nd Monday - we'll vote what to play at the beginning of the session.

Get up and get moving during our toddler and preschool storytime (for children ages 2-5) and their caregivers. This interactive storytime features books, fingerplays, bounces, scarves, shakers, and a parachute.

Our youngest friends are invited to imagine and create with Ms. Alison at this weekly arts-integration storytime for PreK children and their caregivers. Each session will include stories and a hands-on developmentally appropriate art activity.

Join us for snuggly, giggly fun that features songs, rhymes, and stories for babies and toddlers (ages birth - 2 years) and their caregivers.

This group meets every other week and focuses on nourishing and sustaining your creative practice. No experience writing or reading poetry? No problem!

Join us for fun, hands-on projects that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts through hands-on experiences.

This event is for a 1-on-1 Digitize It Yourself (D.I.Y.) Lab appointment with a trained volunteer.

Are you looking for a fun and casual way to practice your French?

Bring a craft you're working on or start a new project with Alison in this relaxed social program for all adults. Crafts, conversation, and even a few laughs!

Program meets biweekly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday.

Every Wednesday is Teen Scene with Mr. Finn! If you are in grades 6-12, this is the program for you!

Join certified art instructor Ms. Alison for a multi-media art studio with a nurturing environment where ALL are encouraged to find the joy in creating art! For grades K-5.
