This 90 minute interactive arts program is designed for adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities (caregivers welcome).

Children ages 2 and under and their caregivers are invited to join us every week for a wiggly, giggly program featuring fingerplays, bounces, tickles, and shakers.

This event is for a 1-on-1 Digitize It Yourself (D.I.Y.) Lab appointment. During the appointment, you can transfer and store your analog memorabilia, such as photos, slides, audio and video cassettes, into a digital format for safekeeping.

Get up and get moving with a playful storytime that includes interactive books, rhymes, and songs for kids ages 3-5 and their caregivers. We design our storytimes to feature activities that develop many skills

Support the library and your sweet tooth with our Bake Sale! Find us on the sidewalk outside the library during the Sharpsburg Community Yard Sale. Cash and credit card accepted. Credit card purchases must be $1 or more.

Explore the Chinese language through bilingual songs, books, and playful experiences. This program is designed for kids in grades preschool - 2nd grade with their caregivers. This program occurs on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, except Nov.

This twice-monthly workshop focuses on nourishing and sustaining your creative practice. No experience writing or workshopping poetry? No problem!

Grades 4-6 welcome for this 3-week Python for beginners class led by coding expert Jenna Gustafson, kids will learn essential concepts of the language Python and use it to make their own games, pictures, and more.

Our youngest friends are invited to imagine and create with Ms. Alison at this weekly art-integration storytime for PreK children and their caregivers. Each session will include stories and a hands-on developmentally appropriate art activity.

Join a group of knitters for 2 hours of crafting and chatting. New knitters welcome! Bring your current projects. Please register but drop-ins are welcome!

Join us for a playful storytime in both Spanish and English with interactive books, rhymes, and songs.

Stop by the library on the 1st and 3rd Friday afternoon for a playful storytime! Ms. Sara will share a storytime featuring stories, songs, and feltboards introducing and reinforcing PreK concepts such as counting, letters, and colors.

Learn how to play Mah Jong with area pro, Dorothy Drennen. This 3-week session will include three robust classes plus a detailed handout with Mah Jong tips and tricks.

Bring a craft you're working on or start a new project in this relaxed social program for senior adults. Crafts, conversation, and even a few laughs!

This week, bring a mending or sewing project of your own and chat it up!

Join us for a special book club designed for kids entering grades K-2! Reading books is even more fun when we can talk about the stories with friends. 

How does it work?

Young scientists, engineers and architects are invited to wonder, discover and experiment with in this STEAM filled program for grades 1-5. Sessions meet on 1st and 3rd Monday.

Join us for fun, hands-on projects that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts through arts and crafts that you get to take home with you. For kids in grades K-6.

Hang out, make friends, and express yourself with Mr. James! Each week there will be different activities to try - from STEM to art to writing! This is a time for teens in GR 7-12. Tweens should check out our Thursday program.

Join Ms. Alison for a weekly multi-media art studio with a nurturing environment where ALL are encouraged to find the joy in creating art! Ages 6-12.
