Event Details
Join us for a special book club designed for kids entering grades 3-5! Reading books is even more fun when we can talk about the stories with friends.
How does it work?
- Read the book before coming to book club. We are happy to help you order a library copy if you wish.
- During book club we will:
- Discuss the book or book series over snacks
- Explore the books further through games, crafts, and other activities
What books are we reading?
- Oct. 20: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (either the chapter book or the graphic novel)
- Nov. 17: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein (either the chapter book or the graphic novel)
- Dec. 15: Cancelled
- Jan. 19: Max & the Midknights by Lincoln Peirce
- Feb. 16: Special Grades K-5 Book Club! Cat Kid Comic Club by Dav Pilkey
- March 16: Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo
- April 27: Wishing Spell by Eoin Colfer
