Are you looking for a book club experience without the pressure of assigned readings or mandatory discussion? Join our Silent Book Club—it's the perfect opportunity to dedicate time to reading in a quiet, comfortable, and supportive community setting.

 Here’s how it works:

  • Bring Your Own Book: This is not your traditional book club. There are no assigned books, so you are free to bring whatever you’d like to read; fiction, non-fiction, a magazine, audiobook, etc.

  • Short Social Time (15 min): We start with a brief, casual time for members to say hello, share what they're reading if they wish, and find a comfy place to sit.

  • The Reading Hour (60 min): We settle in for one full hour of uninterrupted, silent reading. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the simple pleasure of reading alongside others.

  • Optional Wrap-up: You can choose to leave after the reading hour or stay for a few extra minutes of optional, low-key socializing and discussion before heading out.

  • White Board Activity: Short on time or prefer to let your fingers do the talking? No problem! Our interactive whiteboard is your place to shine. Throughout the reading hour, feel free to sneak a few minutes to scribble down your favorite quotes, leave a quick review, or answer a fun, new question that changes every month! It’s the perfect, pressure-free way to connect your read with the community.

    Why Join?

  • Zero Pressure: Read what you want, when you want. You are never required to finish a book or discuss it.

  • Dedicated Reading Time: Carve out a sacred hour for reading away from the distractions of home and work.

  • Community, Not Commitment: Enjoy the presence of fellow readers without the stress of performing or preparing.

  • Find Your Next Read: Discover new books simply by seeing what other members are enjoying!
