Join Emily Anderson of All Bodies Welcome Yoga for a workshop about setting wellness and fitness goals from a body kind, compassionate mindset. Instead of focusing on weight loss and numbers on the scale, Emily will share tactics to determine and track quality-of-life improvements. Participants will try therapeutic yoga techniques, including gentle movement and mindfulness, for a more integrative peace of mind and body.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing, and bring a journal or notebook for reflection exercises.
Emily Anderson (she/her) is a yoga therapist who shares yoga virtually and in Pittsburgh through her studio All Bodies Welcome Yoga. All Bodies Welcome Yoga invites students to explore with gentleness, empathy, fun, and patience, and to shed body shame and comparisons. Expect a holistic, embodied practice that includes movement, breathwork, and other yogic modalities.
