Program Description

Memory Book Club

Curious? Always learning? Love hearing human stories? The Memory (Memoir + History) Book Club is for you!

Join us as we delve into the broad and weird world of nonfiction through selected memoirs and historical books. Every 3rd Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, we will dive into a nonfiction book, from the reclusive mountains of Idaho in Tara Westover's Educated to the stunning life story of Viola Davis in her memoir Finding Me.

Event Details

A harrowing and creative memoir centering on an abusive same-sex relationship. Machado radically utilizes the second-person narrative in this dire yet radically inventive account. Machado tackles dark and difficult subjects with a sharp wit and inquiring spirit

This event occurs after the library is closed so please park in the front lot and use the front doors—they will be locked but Cameron will be inside to let you in. There will be light refreshments available.
