Program Description

Event Details

Due to the snowstorm, the 1/26 session of Maker Monday is CANCELED. Friends will be able to make their own beaded snowflake during our drop-in Snow Fest event this Saturday 1/31 (11am-1pm) as well as other snow themed projects. Stay safe and warm, everyone!

If you can dream it, you can make it at Maker Monday every Monday at 4:30pm! This program for grades K-5 rotates content with some weeks being more arts focused and other weeks being more science focused. Check each week's program description to learn more about the activity.

Today we will study snowflakes and the man who first photographed them - Snowflake Bentley! Then we will make some 3D snowflakes to take home.

January Activities:

  • 1/5: Pom-pom Monsters
  • 1/12: Edison Robots
  • 1/19: Arctic Animal Adaptation Drawings
  • 1/26: 3D Beaded Snowflakes

Please register for each session that interests you.

This staff-led program is FREE - donations appreciated.
