Join students from Fox Chapel Area High School's Society of Women Engineers (SWE NEXT) for 3 different programs that explore various STEM concepts.

Young architects are invited to design, build, and tinker with Ms. Alison in this building program for grades K-5. Sessions meet monthly on the 4th Monday.

Join us for fun, hands-on projects that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts through arts and crafts that you get to take home with you. For kids in grades K-6.

Join certified art instructor Ms. Alison for a multi-media art studio with a nurturing environment where ALL are encouraged to find the joy in creating art! For grades K-5.

Stop by the library during First Fridays each month! We'll be open for browsing, borrowing, and hanging out from 6 to 9pm.

Drop in during First Friday for our annual Gingerbread House project! Supplies are limited, so be sure to come early to make a holiday house. First-come, first-serve.

Due to supply quantities, one house per family.

Explore the Chinese language through bilingual songs, books, and playful experiences. This program is designed for kids in grades preschool - 2nd grade with their caregivers. This program occurs on the first Saturday of the month.

The Fox Chapel Area High School Orchestra loves libraries! Come and join our string students as they read Hanukkah and Christmas stories and pepper them with familiar music.

Join local teen volunteers to play chess every first Saturday of the month! The teen volunteers are happy to teach kids who are new to playing chess. They are also excited to play games of chess with experienced players.

Join us for a special book club designed for kids entering grades K-2! Reading books is even more fun when we can talk about the stories with friends.

Dogs are the best listeners! Mishka is a certified therapy dog, who is looking forward to hearing some great tales. Mishka and her person, Ms.

Join parents and other families for this informal PALS meet-up, which meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday.

Join us for our annual Gingerbread House making! We'll use graham crackers, icing, and candy - everything you need to create a sweet house! Stop by the library anytime from 10:30-noon. The activity generally takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

Leave the holiday baking to us! Stop by to get your holiday cookies and support the library! $10/dozen. Stick around for some hot cocoa too! Have kids 5-11? They can build a mini-gingerbread house while you shop for cookies!
