Calling all robotics fans! Students from the Shady Side Academy's FIRST LEGO Robotics Team are excited to host an introductory robotics program for tweens and teens in grades 5 - 8! This program will teach participants how to construct and program a robot to complete various missions using LEGO pieces. During the course, participants will have access to provided LEGO components for building the robot and will gain a solid understanding of essential coding blocks in Scratch for programming.

There are three dates for this program: Saturday, Jan. 20, Feb. 17, and April 19th. Please try to attend all three programs.

Participants should bring a Chromebook, laptop, or iPad. A few Chromebooks will be available for those who cannot bring one.
