Event Details
Ready to set your home or office in order? Join Certified KonMari Consultant, Leigh Ann Cutright, of A Functional Space, for this casual evening chat about organizing strategies. This event is intended for people who want to DIY their organizing project. We’ll start with a presentation of some basic organizing concepts and common pitfalls, then have lots of time for Q&A. If there’s time, Leigh Ann will teach the iconic folding technique popularized by her teacher, Marie Kondo.
Some frequently asked questions include:
- What if my family members won’t pick up after themselves?
- What if I really love books (shoes, purses, newspapers, etc) and don’t want to discard any?
- How long does it take to organize a whole house?
- Do you actually only keep things that “spark joy”?
Participants are welcome to bring a piece or 2 of clean laundry to fold. Bring your toughest-to-fold item! Leigh Ann is up to the challenge!
Leigh Ann Cutright organizes homes and businesses to make more space and time for what matters. She first overhauled her own home in 2017, and she’s been helping other people ever since. Leigh Ann believes that there are many ways to organize a home, and everyone’s ideal space is different. While working with her, you can expect a clear plan, a matter-of-fact approach, and a heaping dose of compassion. Outside of organizing, Leigh Ann practices yoga, cooks, and sews. She and her maximalist husband live in a single, 400 sq ft room, and they still like each other. Find her on Instagram and Facebook.
