Computer Animation Camp 2023

Join Prof. Chris Wilmer, who teaches scientific visualization at the University of Pittsburgh and is a Fox Chapel area resident, for this fun, week-long half-day summer camp, from 9am - 12pm, June 12th through June16th, 2023.

Students will learn the basics of using Blender to model basic 3d shapes, create animation and other projects.  No experience needed, but if you attended past animation camps or have blender experience more advanced instruction will be available.  

We recommend bringing your own Windows/Mac/Linux laptop and make sure Blender 3.0 or higher is installed before the start of class. You can download it here for free.  Please note that iPads and/or Chromebooks will NOT work for this class.

We will have a some computers available if you do not have access to a laptop, but these will be limited.
