Join us as Jim shares his portraits of hummingbirds, the ethereal winged creatures found only in the Americas. Jim shares photos and a film he created from his travels throughout North, Central and South America and some of the intriguing mythology around hummingbirds.
Jim Jeffries is a former Senior School Librarian at Shady Side Academy and he was also a teacher in the Fox Chapel School District. Now in retirement, Jim devotes his time to travel and photography. With a Master of Arts from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, Jim enjoys working with multimedia, often blending his images with scripts and sound.
