Update: The Cooking Series session scheduled for Teen Time this Thursday 10/27 is CANCELED due to facilitator illness. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Hang out, make friends, and express yourself with Ms. Kiki! Each week there will be different activities to try - from STEM to art to writing!
Join nutritionist Althea Bradley in a once-a-month cooking series. In today’s program, teens will learn how to make lentil and rice mix as a protein alternative for a main dish. We’ll learn the different ways we can incorporate it into a meal. Then we’ll use it as a ground beef alternative in a taco bar. Teens will receive a certificate, decorate their own apron, and take part in a culminating event showcasing their skills if they attend five of the eight cooking classes through the end of the school year.
