KidsProgram Description
Event Details
Join students from Fox Chapel Area High School's Society of Women Engineers for 3 different programs that explore various STEM concepts. Hands-on challenges will provide kids, ages 8-12 with opportunities to experiment with science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.

June 10: Roller coaster day: Children will explore mechanical engineering by learning about, planning, and building rollercoasters with a partner.

June 24: Space shuttle day: Children will explore aerospace engineering by designing a moon lander that will safely deliver two astronauts to the surface of the moon from falls of different heights.

July 1: Earthquake day: Children will explore civil engineering by designing a structure that can withstand the shaking of an earthquake.
Attend any or all of these programs.
