Curious? Always learning? Love hearing human stories? The new Memory (Memoir + History) Book Club is for you!

Join us as we delve into the broad and weird world of nonfiction through selected memoirs and historical books. Every 3rd Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, we will dive into a nonfiction book, from the smoke- and curse-filled kitchens of the 90s in Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential to the illustrated and intimate immigration story of Thi Bui's The Best We Could Do.

In May, let's learn what happens after we die--not spiritually, but the corpse we leave behind! In Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers (2003), Mary Roach explores the contributions and ethical quandaries surrounding the usage of cadavers throughout human history.

Copies are available for you at Cooper-Siegel's Front Desk (or try an eBook for your Kindle or iPad)!

The audiobook version is also available on Libby.
