Event Details
Kristen Bjorklund will share her passion for Oom Yung Doe with an overview of 8 different martial arts styles. Experience deep breathing, Tai Chi and learn about various weapons, among other things. Absolutely no experience necessary. Participation will be encouraged but optional. Martial arts can enhance the quality of life for all of us by improving physical and mental agility. The session will end with a short meditation using essential oils. Please wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in (gym shoes, socks or bare feet are acceptable).
Kristen is a First Degree Blackbelt and Instructor at the school of Oom Yung Doe. She enjoys hiking, volunteering at the library, raising monarch butterflies and traveling. She believes martial arts is for anyone and everyone, no matter your skill-level, and its benefits include connecting the mind and body.
