Program Description

Event Details

Join Lloyd Stamy as he discusses his newest book, a serious and riveting story, but told with an abundance of humor. Perfect Strangers (Bad Bear Down) – the third volume in this timely and evocative series, will keep you engaged and amused throughout. Resonating with a broad audience of younger and older readers, reviewers have found it “captivating, suspenseful, stimulating, and provocative".

Since retiring from the institutional investment business, Lloyd has pursued what he calls “a late-stage career” as an author. A graduate of Fox Chapel High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia. A lifelong member of Shadyside Presbyterian Church, Lloyd has sung in its chancel choir since 1967. He also produces music, including a recent six-CD collection of recordings from his mother’s weekly radio program on KDKA in the 1940s. An avid gardener, he and his wife have two adult children and reside in Fox Chapel. Check out his Amazon author page
