Event Details
Join us for a Black History Month exhibit celebrating Sharpsburg's first Black council person, Kayla Portis, a 4th generation Sharpsburg resident, and her family. The Breaking Barriers: 4 Generations of a Black Sharpsburg Family Exhibit will include family photos and documents. Ms. Portis will give brief remarks at 1pm.
This exhibit is presented in partnership with the Sharpsburg Historical Commission.
If you can't make it to the opening, stop by during library hours to view the exhibit.
