Program Description

Event Details

Join Stephanie Zimble, Oakmont Librarian and passionate archivist for a presentation on preserving family and local history materials. She'll discuss different kinds of materials people might have in their homes and ways to store, protect and access them. She will also have items with her as examples.

About Stephanie: Stephanie works at Oakmont Carnegie Library and wears many hats – archivist, reference librarian, adult programmer, cataloger, tech support, and whatever else needs to get done that day! She is also an antique dealer specializing in midcentury housewares, and owns two vintage travel trailers – a 1966 Serro Scotty and a 1972 Shasta 1400. She is a total textbook Taurus – loyal, dependable, faithful, and stubborn.
