Program Description

Event Details

The PA Poverty: Up Close and Personal project empowered residents of Warren County living in poverty to share their stories – their lives - through photographs and narratives; to make us aware of poverty within the area and what we all have in common; and to educate our communities as to how they can help those in need.

It was a grant-funded project of Warren Public Library and is on loan to us by WPL.

We will also be adding informational panels with statistics about poverty locally in Allegheny County and Sharpsburg.

WPL's Executive Director Kelli Knapp will provide a short presentation on the exhibit virtually at 1pm.

Can't make the opening reception? Stop by any time during library hours to view this exhibit through Tuesday 7/26. Exhibit is on view in the Fiction and Non-fiction Rooms.
