Program Description

Event Details

Looking for a bit of seasonal foliage to greet you at your front door? In this workshop, you'll learn how to use dried and faux leaves and flowers to create a simple bough for your door or anywhere in your home. We'll create a simple upside-down bouquet hung by a ribbon. We'll be following along with a video led by teacher and artist, Cobrina, from our free eResource, CreativeBug. All supplies will be provided.

Artist Coach & Set Designer, Cobrina draws on an extensive history of making and teaching. A career in artisan food taught her the varied crafts of third-wave coffee, fresh cheese, whole-grain pastries and sourdough bread, and included over six years at Josey Baker Bread in San Francisco, where she taught hundreds of sold-out bread classes. Cobrina has since applied her skills to handmade leather shoes as well as large-scale artworks for noted artists. Her crafting interests have taken her in many directions, and she loves her job because every artist she meets is an opportunity to learn something new.

This program is generously funded by a grant through The Fox Chapel Garden Club
