Satya Venneti is the Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at Telling.ai, a digital health startup revolutionizing respiratory care. An experienced engineer and researcher, she specializes in translating academic breakthroughs into real-world solutions. Satya began her career as an engineer, building and leading global teams to deliver production-quality software. As a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, she pioneered a Machine Emotional Intelligence portfolio, focusing on teaching machines to understand human behavior through video and audio analysis. She has also developed mission-critical human-machine teaming tools for the Department of Defense.
Satya is the Principal Investigator for NSF SBIR Phase 1 and Phase 2 awards and holds multiple patents. As a recognized expert, she is a regular speaker at the CMU Leadership Development Seminar and the Executive Education Program at Tepper Business School.
