Satya Venneti, Chief Technical Officer at Telling.ai, a digital health startup, is back for a repeat presentation and interactive AI demonstration. She'll trace the evolution of AI , describe how the technology works, and share how it is being used in daily life, with chatbots, in healthcare, and also what is in store for the future of AI. Satya is a regular speaker at the CMU Leadership Development Seminar and the Executive Education Program at Tepper Business School. At Telling.ai, she is developing cutting-edge digital health products that allow computers to "listen like doctors."


Satya Venneti is the Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at Telling.ai, a digital health startup revolutionizing respiratory care. An experienced engineer and researcher, she specializes in translating academic breakthroughs into real-world solutions. Satya began her career as an engineer, building and leading global teams to deliver production-quality software. As a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, she pioneered a Machine Emotional Intelligence portfolio, focusing on teaching machines to understand human behavior through video and audio analysis. She has also developed mission-critical human-machine teaming tools for the Department of Defense.

Satya is the Principal Investigator for NSF SBIR Phase 1 and Phase 2 awards and holds multiple patents. As a recognized expert, she is a regular speaker at the CMU Leadership Development Seminar and the Executive Education Program at Tepper Business School. At Telling.ai, she combines her engineering background with her research in human-machine interfaces to lead a world-class team in developing cutting-edge digital health products that allow computers to "listen like doctors."
