DESCRIPTION:This program is provided at no cost for participants thanks to
  a generous donation from the Natali Family Foundation! Join us for some 
 summer fun through this week-long opportunity to learn and practice Spanis
 h! Kids will learn Spanish and about the culture of different countries fr
 om Latin America with local Spanish teacher, Bea Conte. We will have arts 
 and crafts, outdoor fun, themed days, music/dance, cooking, stem activitie
 s and much more! This program will take place in the library's Welcom
 e Garden, weather permitting, or in the Koch Program Room on the lower lev
 el.Daily schedule:Make it Monday – Time to get crafty by building a Lati
 n American inspired craft!Try it Tuesday – Learn about foods from differ
 ent countries, and cook a dish from one of them!Music Wednesday – Explor
 e Latin American music and dances!Rainforest Thursday – Get to know anim
 als and plants that you may have never heard about!Festive Friday – We w
 ill have a fiesta and learn how other cultures celebrate!Designed for kids
  entering grades K-5. Each child will receive a travel passport to complet
 e during the week. Please plan to attend all 5 days. Registration will op
