Join us for some summer fun through this week-long opportunity to learn and practice Spanish! Kids will learn Spanish and about the culture of different countries from Latin America with local Spanish teacher, Bea Conte. We will have arts and crafts, outdoor fun, themed days, music/dance, cooking, stem activities and much more! This program will take place in the library's Welcome Garden, weather permitting, or in the Koch Program Room on the lower level.

Daily schedule:

  • Make it Monday – Time to get crafty by building a Latin American inspired craft!
  • Try it Tuesday – Learn about foods from different countries, and cook a dish from one of them!
  • Music Wednesday – Explore Latin American music and dances!
  • Rainforest Thursday – Get to know animals and plants that you may have never heard about!
  • Festive Friday – We will have a fiesta and learn how other cultures celebrate!

Designed for kids entering grades K-5. Each child will receive a travel passport to complete during the week. Please plan to attend all 5 days.

Registration will open for this program on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 9:00AM.
